Picked up my new 20x60 yesterday! I've got alot of work to do to have this thing ready for teal season. I'm doing all the painting, GGing, turfing, and rigging myself to try to save some money. Thanks fellas! I put it in the water today definitely gonna need that extra motor [WINKING FACE] (at least that's what I told my wife lmao!) I have some tweaking to do on it but overall did pretty good. Ran 24.5 steady like cruise control by myself and 23.5 with myself (250), my dad(290), my son(45), and a full 54qt ice chest. All deep water Frog that is some slick ass stuff. Backed the boat down the ramp til the back of the boat touched the water unhooked it and it slide all the way off and into the water lol! Yea I painted it with some header paint that I had laying around just to see how long it'll last. It's supposed to be good to 2000°. I get tired of putting corrosion x on the exhaust every time I get back. Cause we all know once stainless gets hot enough it loses its stainless properties. Your paint probably won't hold but I had my stock pipe cerakoted and it's held up great. |
