well, longtail? Surface drive? EFI? Carb? What size Hp? Does a bear shit in the woods? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it actually make a sounds? ![]() Oh, and, Wrong section! Your boat doesn't make the idle on your motor any different, so I bet you can guess where this thread should be, right? |

Bryce, you can go fk yourself, it was a simple question I was posting but it must have been too complex for your small ass brain, btw the forum states if it floats talk about it here, well my boat does float so I have a right to post in this section, bitch |

Hahahaha You're not having the issue with your boat dumbass! You're having the issue with your motor! But it's funny to me, cause I already feel like you're a troll. Anyone in their right mind knows that a boat, doesn't affect the way a motor idles! ![]() |

Bryce is handling up pretty good. He can have the title today. Lol People not comprehending what their problem is and getting mad when they post in the wrong section is one of the reasons people can't find the answers to their questions |

I will offer this, duckdude: Check your carburetor and throttle cable. Good chance the problem is either the linkage, or the carb butterfly is stuck. Knowing what carb you have, and googling carburetor causing engine to idle high will yield plenty of useful and some not so useful results. It's a lawnmower engine. Operative word here being engine, not boat. If it's efi, that's a whole nother can of worms, ball of wax, etc. Contact your nearest trustworthy engine manufacturer service center (briggs, kohler, etc). You never said what it was. |

Haha, I've had much worst than that said to me before ![]() "I mean, my boat floats, and my motor is on my boat, so I should ask a engine question in the boats section, and not the engine section" ![]() |

None of the responses are even valid right now, cause NOT a single one of us know wtf kind of motor/Hp you have. That's like some people coming on here, and saying their engine is making a weird sound and wanting an answer without seeing/hearing the motor. Be real dude. If you want good, quality help, I'm here to help, as are majority of these guys. I have always tried to help anyone here to the best of my abilities, but asking why your motor is idling at 3200 rpms, and that being the only description you gave, what are we supposed to go off of? and, 3200 rpms is not idling my friend, you are probably on the step at those rpms. |
