Dad and I made this a few days ago. There is rubber in the cup against the motor

I thought I have read to not attached transom saver strapping top the knuckle as it will not be good for the LU??

If the hull shifts forward or back with the trim locked, It can lead to a cracked transom or damage to the tower/mount section. Transom straps help, but are no guarantee.

It's not on the LU. My boat doesn't move much at all. I'll keep all this info in mind, thx guys!
