Post Single Axle shackle angle question
I posted how my springs shattered in a prior post and left my trailer sitting in the street after it spit my axle and wheels out the back. Today I finished up installing new springs with probably to high a rating. The axle is a 3500# one so I got springs to match. After the install the shackles are pointed slightly forward instead of the usual rearward. I found the last diagram on the net that in my position now the ride softens. Look at the photos and give your opinions. I can grind off the rear hanger and re-weld, but do I need to? Or am I reading the chart wrong?

I'd leave it as is.
