I have an 09 Tracker 1648 with a MB SD. I did the single carb kit, IM heads and exhaust on it. When I run by myself with the dog ad 3-4 doz decoys I can't keep the front end down unless the prop is buried underwater. I relocated the battery up front and it helped. I was going to move the gas but ran out of space so a custom tank is my only option. In the summer I run a trolling motor on the front with 2 Group 24 batteries up front with the main battery. I can get a little more speed with that set up and if I have a buddy sitting up front, no issue. Any body ever add trim tabs or anything similar. The rest of the performance is pretty good, gets out of the hole with a big load. Tops out around 29 on deep water with 2 guys and a fishing load, a little better when it is set up for hunting with 2 guys and the dog.

It was a 3500 special when I started and still has stock gears and prop. Any suggestions on gearing or prop changes. Don't run much mud, mostly thick weeds and shallow water.
