Hey Guys
I currently am running a 25hp Godevil long tail on a modified vee 1542 boat. The biggest problem I am having is the handle length. If I measure from the tip of the handle to the back of the transom it is 55". When I am hunting and I have my blind up it is extremely hard to turn tightly due to the handle swing and it hitting my blind before I can get it on a tight turn. I am considering getting a copperhead but would like to hear if anyone can measure theirs from the tip of the handle to the back of the transom. Or would it be stupid to cut down the handle length? chime in if you have an opinion.

I have only had longtails for the past thirty years...I would consider getting a quick deploy/collapse blind rather than switch motors. I encountered too many problems running with the blind up so I don't do it any more. I try and drop the ducks real close to the boat!
