Well I haven't had a chance to add any pictures of the new Banded Axe Blind I installed on my 1748 CC ProDrive until now. It was a nightmare to install by myself but I got it accomplished. To mount the blind on this boat I had to fabricate a piece of aluminum to use for the rear mounting brackets since the boat is much wider than the actual blind frame. I took a 58"(?)x6" piece of aluminum and added a 1" 90 for strength. This piece was then fastened to the T-rail blind brackets so I would have a "frame" for the blind frame to set on in the rear. In front I was able to just use the T-rail blind brackets. I don't have any pictures of the finished product but figured I would show some of the pictures of the process. I have added more raffia grass and trimmed it to be flush with the water line. I also had to remove some of the zip ties from the camo netting so I could get the front and back deck portions to drape so It wouldn't look so square. And while I was at it, I decided to add some lights. All in all, I am very pleased with the finished product. |

If you haven't already, I would recommend cutting your raffia off just above the water line. I've had it wrapped in my prop shaft and have also found it on my trailer axle inner seal. |

I did that as soon as I put it in the water. I had it hanging way too low. |
