Has anyone tried a GTR 25 on one of these bad boys ? I have a bd4500 and a guy that wants to trade me a 25 GTR ( fuel injected ) I wonder how well it would push it. I saw where delta was getting over 40hp with them

And, delta was making 40 hp on the big block 25 hp, I don't think it was the 25 EFI.

Empty boat, the motor would probably step it, but other than that, I wouldn't expect anything else.

my fault, it was the carb motor. I just miss reverse I figured if I could get one and put stage 3 on it, it may be comparible. I would trade for an older GTR but no one will...dont really blame them. This excel is a TANK...handles like a dream though. it ran 29 with 3 guys in it yesterday, I was pretty impressed. Thats with a worn out 2 blade, I may look into one of those raptors.

With the 25 briggs, you could build it to the exact same specs as your 4500 if you wanted to. It's the same block, just different rotating assembly and carb. I know that's not what you're going to do. Just a little extra useless info for you.

They do. Last I checked it was 2 grand for the kit... I kay have a guy interested in buying this rig. There's a 756 mst havoc I'm looking at with a stage 2 GTR. 2915 I believe
