 Prodigy 1854 or go bigger
I am looking to build a boat for a family of four. I have selected the MB4400HDR. Looking for a all around boat. Pleasure, sand bar, bowfishing, running nets, hunting. Really like the Prodigy elite 1854. Just wanting other opinions on the size of boat for what we are going to do.

Re: Prodigy 1854 or go bigger
Are the kids grown or bigger? Gotta look a couple years down the road. My kids are 5 and 8 and I'm thinking about an Uncle J 1848 with a Backwater 37 but I don't know if that will cut it in 3-4 years.

 Prodigy 1854 or go bigger
I just ordered an 1848 prodigy. The prodigy hull is much wider than my other 48" boat you could probably put the one I have now inside theirs. The 1854 will be big, probably bigger than you think if you haven't looked at one.

Chad posted a heck of a deal in an 1854 with 37 with trailer for 16,500.

Yeah I just re read it's and noticed it was 1/10".. It's a really good deal for someone that doesn't run stumpy areas.
