Post subject:  Hull ID Locations Gator Tail
I need to find the HID for my Gatortail Extreme hull but I can't seem to locate it on the transom. I'm pretty sure the HID should be stamped somewhere else on the boat but I'm having trouble finding it. Does anyone one know where the Hull ID locations are for gator tails?

How old of a rig is it? A year or 2 ago they started putting stickers on them instead of stamping.

Somewhere on your boat there is a hidden HID. Probably under the deck.

If no luck call the state game wardens where the boat was registered as homemade and they should have all of that info.

It's a 2010 model according to the registration. I assumed that it would be stamped on the rear. The boat looks like it's been painted but there isn't any remnant of the sticker.

2010 is when that were still stamping them. It should either be stamped in the hull or have a piece of aluminum with the stamped numbers riveted to the hull. Look under the deck and find the hidden one.

I hear that if you call GT customer service and can actually find someone
willing to help you they can print a new HIN with a sharpie on a clorox bottle
that you can attach to a bow line for deep water use...

The really sad part about this conversation is I've seen 3 and helped resurface 2 godevil hulls personally because the foam didn't help float them, yet here you are defending the foam because someone is looking for a hull ID number. Relevant, much?

My hull ID # was applied by TPWD and it was only a $115.00! TAX, TITLE, And 2years registration.
