Anyone have any experience with what speeds I may expect running a sea ark 2072 with no floor installed a 770 lb dry weight boat? Without the floor and console it's rated for a 90hp but I really don't want to spend that much and it seems 90hp tillers are hard to find. So what would I expect running a 60hp or 75hp? Most I run is 3 guys with gear and dog. Thanky

I ran a 2072 alweld with a 115hp side counsel with 4blade stainless prop (forgot the pitch) at 45mph solo.

a 60hp will be dragging carrying a load. 75 will even be dogging it a bit. I wouldn't expect much over 25-7ish with a 3 guy load

also, my hull was MUCH lighter than a seaark. has no bells and whistles, just open floor and .100" aluminum

It'll get you there, but talk to seaark. They do alot of testing, and may have tested it with a 75. I bet it would be fine if you weren't in too big of a hurry. We run these 35 hp surface drives with 600+ lb boats, and they hit 20-26 stock. You're running a lot more lift and to counter the extra weight, so it should ride high enough in the water to be decent.
