Just got a Seaark mudrunner. Trying to figure out the best nav/sonar unit. Worried about the transducer being on the back. Even on my War Eagle with the outboard motor had issues in the river. What have some of you done? |

There's a thread on here with some pretty good ideas including some pics concerning mounting transducers. Use Google to search, put mudmotortalk at the end of your search string. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I'll save you a minute of effort. This comes from cabelas. Turn the head sideways and mount it by your motor. A quick hit of rustoleum and it'll blend right in. Raise it up before you go into the nastiness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Check out Vexilar Alumaducer. I've run them for several years with good success. |
