Looks good. How tall are those sides? they look shorter than "normal". maybe just the pics. also, the beam looks extra wide for that size bottom. That may be why the sides look so short. or the the beam way look wide cuz the sides lol... Hell, i dont know, just curious. :D

Well, Jay, maybe if you had a boat builder leanin over your shoulder, correctin your mistakes before they were made, you could be as good as this kid. Too bad you came up with your own design and taught yourself to fab, instead of buildin a boat somebody else designed, buildin it in their shop, under their supervision.

I'm goin to work, had enough dumb azz for one day. Another thread ******** up.

The boat was built for a reason. i dont think it was for jumping logs but if u want one for doing that i can build u one for that.

Post subject:  Re: Insta-Gator 1744

once again, the whole concept behind Mudmotors goes out the window. All about speed
But to each his own. I just cant stand the fact that everyones so caught up on how fast they can make a lawn mower motor on a tin can boat.
The purpose of gettin back to where no other motor can get is put on the back burner...

But, like i said, to each his own. And it does look like you built a good boat for speed :)

Congrats,
Josh
