Post Trim problem on gator trax
I have a question guys,
On occasion my trim has quit working, but always started working again. Even when its not working, it's getting power...making a relatively loud clicking almost? Any thoughts on this
I believe the unit is a wearner?? It is an 07

Are you asking about the trim on your motor? Assuming mud buddy?

If that is correct sounds like you have a corroded trim relay/circuit breaker and just needs replacing.

Look on back of starter. Should be 2 small circuit breakers with yellow plastic caps. You can buy a replacement from any parts house for about $5 that'll last you a couple months, or you can order new breaker from Boat Dr for about $20 that'll last you couple years.

Easy to replace. Just need 8mm socket, 10mm & 3/8 wrenches.

I think the bottom breaker is the trim and the top the clutch. You should be able to tell the bad one (rusty or corroded).

Other than that do what Camo says and you should be good.

I've had breakers from Napa on my motor for about 80 hours with no problems.
