 Pd hydro trim parts
Anyone have a ballpark figure for the parts to complete a hydro trim setup? I have access i believe to the pump but curious about the cost for everything else to get it in wrking order. I have an email in to pd but no response yet. Thx.

 Re: Pd hydro trim parts
Yep, just did it, but working on a hydraulic selector valve to run both rams with 1 pump. The closest shop that sells parts for me was H&H in houma. Round Gear - $110 Half Moon gear - $225 Hydro Cylinder - $212.55 Mounting plates - $40 and a pack of gum Total so far, about $600. A far cry from the $1500 they want. I too have an older style pump (3 wire, metal bowl), but I was looking to run both off of one pump. Here is what I have come up with so far. I haven't gotten the hoses made yet because I'm working on the selector valve. Hydro Setup.JPG

 Re: Pd hydro trim parts
My only worry is oil capacity. I have a call into a couple shops to see is my older pump will mount to the newer plastci resevoirs. My unit does have the 4 bole flange to bolt to the plastic one, but it has the metal one. No calls back yet.

You know they make manual selector valves to simplify wiring...just something to think about also. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373981466.084746.jpg

 Re: Pd hydro trim parts
I thought about it after I post that...those solenoids dont use much amperage and only 2wires so yea no big issue there.

 Re: Pd hydro trim parts
I made my own and sold the PD one. lol
Went with custom trim arms and hydraulic cylinder (8 inches of travel). That = trims higher and lower.

lol, I have a set of stock arms, so all he would need is the cylinder and the top roller.
