amount of gear oil for PD 36

 amount of gear oil for PD 36 Can anyone give me an approximation on the amount of 80w-90 it will take to fill the lower unit on a PD 36 after the old oil has been completely drained? Ounces please. Thanks.

Re: amount of gear oil for PD 36 Its about half a quart or 16 ounces. Have the plug out of the side of the gear housing, fill from the bottom hole near the prop with the engine level until it starts to come out out of the hole on the housing. Should be around half a bottle.

Re: amount of gear oil for PD 36 it a 1/4 npt thread. I made an extention using 3/8 fuel hose and slipped it on to a 1/4 npt threaded 3/8 hose connector. works great with the tip on the bottle.
