 Prodrive lower seal
Ordered a new lower seal for my pd and waiting on the new one. Pulled my prop and seal today and a ton of water drained out. When i get the new part can i just refill with fresh oil or do i need to change it a few times first before calling it good? Peck mentioned running a little diesel in it and then changing.

 Re: Prodrive lower seal
I would take Pecks advice and do what he says. I would say diesel would be the best thing for it.
Sent from my beeper.

 Re: Prodrive lower seal
I use a 50/50 mix of oil and gas. It works well also.
