 Gdsd 3blade2blade?
I have a 23 hp gdsd it has the three blade but seems like that lil motor struggles to turn it when in a bind. Would a 2 blade be better? And what about cutting of the cavatation plate?

 Re: Gdsd 3blade2blade?
So the thread is unclear. Just for clarification, is the design intention of the 3 blade prop supposed to increase low end torque (load carrying capacity)? And the 2 blade prop high end (max speed on a light load)? What is the overall effect on RPM's?

 Re: Gdsd 3blade2blade?
Yes the 3 blade does work great in open deep water and pushes a load better but it was originated to prevent the motor from having vibration since the vibration is caused from a 2 blade prop slapping the waters surface

 Re: Gdsd 3blade2blade?
I love how my motor feels with the three blade. If you work the trim tabs you can get it high up on the water and that will help you in the muck. The two blade is much better in grass and mud, however the overall performance is better with the three blade. Less vibration and a better handling.
