 Tiller Tension Adjustment
I searched and couldn't find anything on this - but is there any way to adjust the tiller tension on GTR?
The tiller seems "loose" and turns way to easy, almost floppy I did this adjustment on my old outboard and it eliminated all tiller torque.
I haven't had the transom of one of these apart yet - but what if a guy installed something like this on their GTR, it would be nice to be able to momentarily release tiller at idle and remain on course or possibly curb some more tiller torque.

I don't think it will work. I'm not 100% but I think gtrs swivel on the post instead of the list swiveling inside the housing. If you get what I'm trying to say.

 Re: Tiller Tension Adjustment
I think it could be done. Bolt a piece of flat plate to the mid section and have a set bolt with a piece of polymer between the tip and the piece that pivots to adjust tension. May work, may get torn all to crap. I'd like to see it happen though.

 Re: Tiller Tension Adjustment
Anybody ever tried to put a steering damper off a motorcycle on one to see if it would calm down some of the tq?
