Post PD trim motor just clicks
Battery connection is good thinking mabe switch connection. Any other ideas? 08' model.

Its 3 wire if I remember right. red blue yellow at switch. Different colors at pump so there is a splice.

I have two pumps, one for rev and other for trim. They are trombetta trim solenoids. Here is the wiring diagram of what I have.

I modified the existing trim pump bracket to hole both pumps and the solenoids.

If you put the solenoids, you can put any $10 rocker switch on it and can get them at basically any hardware store. Not as easy with the other switch. Plus by using the solenoid, the solenoid takes all the load, not the switch, so the pump gets full load.

I have a winch solenoid out there in shop but the 3 wire thing has got me confused as far as using it.

Stop making it harder than it needs to be. This works fine for the 3 wire.
