Having an issue with the trim on my 2015 grt 35. Trim will not work when engine is off. Once I start the engine and rev , it will slowly start to work. After running for a while it works perfect, but once the engine is turned off I'm back to square one. Just curious if it's a switch issue or voltage from the battery. Anyone else have this issue?

Chech your battery and see if it has a good charge, or get it tested. Does it trim faster once the engine has ran longer?

It not battery, hell if it can't work a simple trim motor, how the hell is it starting the engine. Try turning key to the on position but don't start it. Then try the trim. Not exactly sure how GTR key switch is, but if power is run to the Aux, could be faulty key switch. If not, trace back the wires, could be a wiring issues. But if it starts the engine, then its more than enough juice to run a trim motor.

One of my crimped on connectors breaks occasionally. The vibration of the motor while running allows it to make contact. When not running it does not make contact. Cut the broken connector off and install a new one and all is good. It has happened twice since 2011.

I called gatortail this morning and Hoyt was puzzled but said to check connections. He said put the blue and green wire straight to the battery and if it works, it's the connection, if it doesn't, could be the switch. Thanks for all the replies I will check all of them today.
