Unless you notice a decrease in performance there's no real need for a new one.

well i am not sure how fast i should be going with a load . i go about 23 with just me in the boat and 9 gal of gas . When I go bowfishing with me and 2 other guys, ice chest, 2 honda gennys, bowfishing rack for the front I cant get over 15. i know this is a lot of weight but i was wondering if this was normal. I was wondering if a new prop would make a difference or if any thing would make a difference with this weight. My boat is a 18x52 ext hull center console with stock 35 gtr. Thanks for any info.

I want in my boat today with my new prop. With me and the racks and 9 gals of gas I only hit 22 mph. I tried to put the pin in the top hole out there put could not get it out . It is in the middle hole now . I am going to put it in the the top hole and try it out another day. I hope this makes me get better speeds. If that dont help I dont know what to do.

i have pretty much the same set up as you and by myself with 12 gals of gas and three batteries im getting 28 at 3650 rpms. When i bring all my crap to go bow fihing two 2000 gens and alot of beer lights and all other crap im running roughly 21 at around 3500 rpms. i run the gtr big blade prop but i dont see that making that much of a difference. If your triming the motor correctly you should be gettin more speed than that.
