I know pitch is for speed, what makes the difference with the diameter ? |

my RPMs seem to be dropping the more my prop wears, it got down to around 3300, so i cranked it back up to around 3600 and its starting to drop again. |

well, you wont necessarily gain rpms with a worn prop. on a outboard that is the case but ive noticed on my gtr that the more the prop is worn the lower you have to trim it in the water puting more of the diameter of the prop in the water losing rpms |

your right but your going to trim it lower to go faster if not your just going to turn up with no push |
