Guys, I've got an '06 PD 36 with some grease showing at the FPR pivot point on the lower unit. I am assuming this is the upper seal. It's not a lot and it is not just pouring out or anything (none on the ground.) What's the diagnosis? I really need it to make it the last 3 weeks of our season and then I will fix it. Should I just hit it with a couple of pumps of grease and roll? |

If your talking about the swivel joint that is normal. If you pump to much into the frame there it will come out. Smell it and you will know if it is grease or LU lube. There are no seals where the LU slides into the frame. It rides on a teflon collar and the grease just flows freely in it. |

But worst case if it is a seal then just change your LU lube and if it's not all water then the leak is very slow and will get you past the season. You will be fine. |

If mine wasnt leaking oil and grease everywhere then something would be wrong. |
