i have a 9x7 prop for a longtail that i would like to have worked down to 8x4 is this possible and if it is is it more affordable than just buying a brand new prop?

It would b cheaper to get a new prop. U cut an inch off the dia. And you have cut all the cup out of the wheel. Don't think it could b taken from a 7 to a 4 pitch either.

Not sure where u r located. U should b able 2 get a good wheel from Hopkins propeller in Covington, La. Give them a call, they will drill the prop to fit any shaft.

Hopkins will ship anywhere.

They can be worked but only +1-2 pitch and cutting it down isn't worth the time we charge $65 to do them but we don't cut them down only change cup and pitch
