Sure did dude. It runs at 4250 Rpms. Pushes decent once you get going. I need to run it empty too. With three guys in the boat it ran 18 mph according to the GPS on my phone. My boat was porposing when I ran it alone, but it was dark and foggy as hell so I couldnt really get on it to see what was going on. Seems like it will do good though. It apparently is pushing harder than that old one i had on it for sure. I do appreciate the prop too, btw. |

Run cocos props on cocos motors. U R wasting money by doing anything else. Get a 3 blade if u don't like the 2 blade. I own a prodrive and know That Coco knows his props. |

You ignorant fuk there isn't a day that goes by that I say to myself "Self, I sure wish I had a motor that has nothing on it but a throttle and wasnt easy to drive just like a long tail" You just take these shots because it's all you have. There is nothing your motor has to offer to the majority of people who KNOW anything about them. |

Giga, youre a good guy, and a client of mine. But Ill tell ya I had that GDSD and I hated it! My new MB will run circles around it and is much easier/safer to drive! |

what did you hate about it Rod? The fact that it didn't have neutral and trim or the way it ran?.....or all of the above? ![]() Sent from my iPhone 5 |

Man I was always fightin it to stay in the water, no matter how much I bent those tabs. I could never sit down and drive it, and no neutral. |

That sucks. Hope I don't have that trouble. I haven't been able to run mine much since my flywheel was forked up. I'm just trying to get a day scheduled to replace parts. I'm waiting on Cody to get back with me on some stainless so I can try to get that pipe together. After some sand blasting and tlc with a wire wheel it looks like new money. Sent from my iPhone 5 |

Well i didn't mean to start all that. I personally like my motor. I do however like the neutral and reverse too. For what i personally do the gdsd suits me. At some point Im sure ill try something else, maybe. For now ill be rockin the gdsd and tooling along... |

A GD is garbage 4 Lilly packed pipeline canals. No trim r reverse makes it hard to drive wif a steering wheel from a console. When I get hung up in those Lilly packed canals, there is only 1 reverse that will get me going again and it ain't instant. That's just a few reasons I drive a ProDrive. GD is likely a god choice 4 beginners. My cousin has a 23GDSD at the camp that convinced me to buy something else. |

a podna of mine went from a 3 blade to a mb bigblade and the mb wheel was much better all the way around BUT.....his boat is not a mm hull, its a semi v express.i think the fatter blades on the mb wheel gave the boat more "lift",the difference is nite and day. i dont give a rats azz what coco or giga,or anybody else says these are the facts. the fella's name on here is laBirdman, ask yaself if you doubt what im tellin ya. |

I havent had any problem out of my 35GDSD it runs good, handles good, and goes where i need it to. I noticed a few times im haveing trouble getting on plane in four inches of water or so but i mostly believe that the problem is my boat is short and wide. It is a Airboat hull so i dont expect it to perform miracles. I run anywhere i need to go and get there with few problems so im happy with my rig. I was able to work and save up to buy my motor and it is reliable enough for me. Im not like some 20 yr olds on here where there daddy pays for everything. All brands aside i enjoy riding with everyone but sometimes i get tired of all the sh$t about whos motor is better. If it gets you to your pond to hunt and where you want to go WHO GIVES A F%*k what it is!! |

Older post but....... When I bought my 35 GDSD CDI last year, I tried the 3 blade that came with it for a couple weeks. Wasn't impressed with the 23.4 speed and the RPM's were down around 3500. If I trimmed up any more, the prop would blow out. So I bought a mint condition GD 2 blade and ran 24.5. Then bought a MB Big Blade and it ran best at 25.5 and 3700 rpms. Now with the Mikuni and MM muffler I can run 27 at 4150 rpms. My prop is worn down some now and I'm only getting a tad over 24mph so its time for a new prop. $189 for the Big Blade or $260 for the GD 3 blade? These are all unloaded speeds on a stepped 19x60 hull. |
