Fellas I purchased my first MM this summer. It has manual reverse. Everything has been working great til this past weekend I switched the lower unit to reverse to set decoys in deep water. Not sure if I didn't get it locked back in to forward but when I pulll the red button out for constant power nothing happens. I can push the black button for temporary power and it works fine. I have tried to rotate the lower unit around and make sure it's locked in but still no power. Any suggestions??? Lynn |

Your switch might be broke or the connections on the back came loose. |

bad clutch switch, first clutch switch (red button) goes, then when your limping in momentary goes (black one) if not clutch usually suffers death lol, you do not have to have the lower unit ratcheted fully around to put it in gear, you never heard of fpsw! full power side ways!. I think the clutch switch is 40 bucks. |

x3 and the position of the LU has nothing to do with clutch engagement. I run mine sideways sometimes to spin the azz end around. |
