hey guys, I was wondering if the lower unit is the same on the 27,32, and 36 hp PD's. Im sort of new to this so it may be a dumb question.

Your question is very vague, But Yes they typically are the same, but Different year models have different components and upgrades.

It will bolt right up, just make sure you get an engine off of a PD or verify you have the right crank before purchasing. X2 on calling PD. They can tell you everything you need to know.
