Post subject:  Need to haul more weight?

This year I hauled 3 full size guys and a big load and it took forever to get on plane. My boat is not ideal. Its a 1650 alumacraft waterfowler with a bone stock Gt-35. I'm running the ideal RPM's and get about 30 by myself and and 26.5 with 2 guys a dog and a small duck hunting load. This summer I'm going to try and striper fish which requires a bait tank(heavy) and 2 guy. I'm not concerned with top speed and running mud and weeds. I just want to get on plane faster and haul the load. Thanks

I do agree! I just don't have the funds to go that deep. My question was really would a 3 blade prop help me any?

A worn prop can destroy you Abilty to
Plane and carry a load. Just food for thought

Ok...ok..you sold me! The prop is a brand new gt big blade so I know that's not the issue. I have noticed it seem like I could use some more hp when spinning the prop.

Can someone give me a good idea how much its going to cost getting a cam..DT'S...and heads ported and polished all installed. Thanks
