Post subject:  whats the best prop to buy for a 35hp mud buddy SD
i am looking at buying a new prop for my 35 hp mud buddy SD. we have alot of mud where i live but we have alot of wide open rivers. i want to get more speed on the open water.... anybody have any suggestions on what size and kind of prop i should get???

Camo what do you have done to your motor and what do you get it repitched too?

Carb, exhaust, cam, pistons, c-rods, heads, roller rockers, push rods. 205lbs compression. Turn the prop up to a 12p until it's worn down a lot (1/2" or more) then turn up to 13p & recup it.

Do you think I can turn a prop with that pitch with a 35 mb with carb exhaust and ported and polished heads

I wouldn't go that aggressive with just carb & heads. Maybe go with an 11 or 11-1/2 max of a stock aint enough.
