could anyone tell me what type of belts and pulleys these SD motors require? would also appriciate if you could tell me where i can buy these parts any info would be great |

McMaster.com is a great sight to get pulleys. I bought my timing pulleys from there I think it was 18 tooth and 24 tooth for the gear reduction. I had to buy the hub also though so it would tighten on the shaft. I went with 1" belt width also. |

I go straight to a Gates distributor. McMaster is usually about 10-15% higher cost. Use the Gates Design Flex software to outline your drive and then send that directly to a local distributor for a quote. |

I agree mag10 mc master can be a little higher than other places. I got my pulleys from local outfit and they are top=TB16h100 kf-1 style and bottom=TB26h100 kf-1 for 1.63:1 gearing. I have also seen these pulleys on ebay and amazon at times. Also need to purchase the taper-lock bushings to go with this style pulley. |
