It seems like everybody on this form is a speed demon. I like going fast too, but my motor is probably going to see more duty pushing a big metal bongo (the shape of a big dugout canoe) with a heavy load. The physics is cut and dried, if you are pushing a slow heavy boat you use less pitch. I'll have to play with that and find the right prop. My question is, "is anyone else using their long tail on a big heavy boat, and not a speed boat?". Thanks! Greg |
