I have a 23 GDSD with a Rock Guard. What is the effect on performance and operation in the Weeds? |

Just put one on my 45mag. It slowed me down about 2 MPH in open water, and caught all kinds of weeds and crap on it. Super easy to take on and off though. When I run rocks, I stick it on. Weeds/mud, pull it off. I used 1" bolts, and they don't stick out past the nut by more than 1/8". |

A GD rock guard is different than your MB. This floating effect you are talking about is normal for a balanced frame, I believe a GDSD has trim tabs like a lt, you could bend them to make it ride on the trim. |
