I just put my 12x12 Hopkins on my MB and noticed that the exposed threads are not long enough to thread the prop nut on far enough to get to the locking part of the nut. Should I be concerned about this. |

Might need to get a different prop nut. U can get them about half the size of a regular lock nut, unless it is already like that. Then I would have reservations. |

I had the same issue, replaced the nut and added a lock washer. He added a little length to keep the weeds from getting between the prop and the drive. |
