I have a 35 GDSD and was looking to get a new prop. Should i just order from GD or is there another company out there that makes a better prop. |

3 Blade - GD prop is the best - 11 x 12 pitch 2 Blade - Hopkins 12 x 12 pitch ---- Is my 2nd favorite same as PD uses 2 Blade - MB Big Blade is a 10 pitch ---- guys with big or heavy rigs like the lower pitch |

Not to mention that they were only $220 brand new from GD.... That 2 blade is still my favorite summer prop - faster solo and lightly loaded and a bit better over hard sand and in veggies too.... |

I just tried the hopkins 12 x 12 tulip on my gdsd. I am running a 45mm carb, Manley ss valves, hoyts cam, marsh mellow can. I drooped 250 rpm but no speed. Stock motors will not turn these well with out a gear change. 3 blade is smoother a lot less vibration. New two blade you can feel the vibes through the tiller but not real bad. The two blade gets me going in the tough mud better. I will run 3 blade during fishing season and the hopkins tulip 2 blade during duck season. top end and load was about the same. JD |

A stock gdsd prop would push my boat 30 mph with a stage 1 @ 4100 rpm something wrong with the prop lol |

31 @ 3950 rpms by myself with a new 3-blade on a heavy ass Grizzly hull. 2-blade is always about 4 MPH slower than the 3-blade for me, but will cut some chit up. |

I might be able to work you out a very good deal on a two blade prop that has never been used yet. It is set up for the Three blade shaft and balanced. PM me if you are interested. |
