Anyone ever done the two hammer tuning trick on one of these surface drive props? I've used this method numerous times on stainless outboard props w/ some great results over the years (some of our rocks are transients around here). Being that the PD factory props are a lot softer than say a Yamaha prop I was kinda debating what could be done w/ and old spare to "rejuvinate" it. |

hell yeah, done put some cup with a hammer and the ball on the trailer hitch too. if you cant get the"beat up"blade back perfect, just beat up the other blade a lil bit with the hammer so they match, and stay balanced.hard to fuk something up thats already fukked up.lol. |

My thoughts exactly! Prop shop sorta seems like a crap shoot so what the hell. Couple hammers and a few stops on a sand bar = custom prop, done the trick before. |

also, adding a lil pitch to a worn gtr or gdsd prop dont quite do the trick like it does on outboard props.not familiar with prodrive. |
