 Siezed Taper Lock
I removed my lower unit from my GTR35 to replace the shaft seals. I am trying to remove the taper lock bushing from the pulley and shaft, but can't get it to budge. I removed the two allen head bolts and put one of them in the third hole and tightened it down, but it didn't move. I am afraid to put too much pressure on it and strip the threads so I have been soaking it in liquid wrench and my next thought is to try heating up the pulley. Any other recommendations or ideas?
