I have a home build 23 and would like to try and spin a big blade. I have cam/push rods/shims, mikuni, bps muffler, so I think I could spin one, but I don't want to design a new outdrive to switch from a 3/4" shaft to a 1" shaft. Do they make an adapter that will allow me to go from 3/4x10 threads to a hex design?

I have seen those but don't know anything about them. It says they are for lt motors, and I have a sd.

Just because they are for Lt doesnt mean they wont work for a sd; the prop might not be right but the hex might fit other props that are hex...... if its a 3/4" shaft it would make that 3/4x10 threaded area hex compatible.... however if the hex is comparable to a sd hex prop would be the real question.

The sd hex props fit a 3/4" hex, so you wouldn't be able to use a 3/4x10 adapter and make it work. Maybe this company will start making some bigger props.
