I found on some that I worked on the ram would sometimes get in a bind and jam for a sec. Then the seal would start to leak after a while. |

I've had some issues with mine too. It hasn't leaked yet, it just starts intermittently hanging up when cycling into reverse. 165 hours and I have replaced two cylinders (under warranty), five switches (3 under warranty) and sent whole system back to PD once (under warranty). PD always stands behind their product and I applaud them for that. However, I am sort of sick of messing with it. Mine is starting to hang up cycling into reverse again! It must have something to do with binding, because I don't see many posts about the same problems with the trim. If anyone specs out a more reliable system, please post the specs. I'll replace the stuff at my own expense! |

Sounds like you're not greasing the reverse disk enough, pump the shit out of it. |

Post subject: | Re: Prodrive reverse ram prob |
PD is getting a new cylinder designed... its caused a lot by the cylinder end not being welded on strait, and these cylinders do not handle side loads well.. So, they are getting a cylinder the size of the trim built for the reverse... |
