Watson propeller worked my prop last year, dropped me about 500 rpm and my top speed by about 2 mph. Of course I'm stock so its probably too much for me. Not sure what the pitch is now. Now that I've run it for 25 hours im only down about 250 rpm and my top speed is back to the same, about 26 mph, pushing an 1854 with boxes on both sides and 15gallons of gas. If your in SETX i'd let you run the prop to see if does what you think it would do. I've been meaning to get me a new GTR prop and throw on the worked prop after a stage 1. Stage 1 is $$$$$ |

I'm from the laffayette area I'm sure I could spin the hell out of it I have heads cam and carb I can only run it at 1/2 throttle or it hits rev limiter me and another person rod box full and 12 gal of gas getting 33-34 |

If your running 33-34 at half throttle, then why do you want a prop to put more strain on your engine and burn more fuel? I would leave it alone, and have all the extra power to run with big loads. |

If you have a CDI, your money would be better spent on high rev coils. |

I have the high rev coils they told me to keep it between 4300-4400 safe zone and don't go over that inless u need to |

With your mods, run it to whatver speed you want. Is long as the prop is half in and out and you ar gaining speed as the rpms increase it is doing its job. Like owen stated, no need to put more strain on the motor. You will appreciate that ability to spin it well when you have a heavy load. |

Don't be fooled, half throttle on a mikuni is almost same as full throttle. You don't see much gain on the last bit of travel on mikuni |

If you don't see much gain between half and full throttle on your mikuni, then it's not jetted correctly. |

It was all done by Calen I trust him to have done it right. And I never opened it up if i bury the prop and hammer down it still turns 4300 so I'm sure it can turn the 4700 if I wanted to just don't want to |

And I don't think there is much left after 1/2 way the most I turned so far was 4600 and that cause I wasant paying attention riding around with some friends and I hammered down thought I was trimed down enough so it wouldn't over rev and when I looked at my tac it was at 4600 and I let off |

Those half throttle speeds tell me you might need a new gps... 4300 with prop burried?? U either need a new prop or a New tach. If u had an exhaust to go with your mods, you'd prolly need a stabilizer fin like the lil jap cars have on the trunk. |

I do have a exhaust a marshmellow I just been havin it so long I forget to add that And I'm not doing 33-34 wiht the prop buried. I'm just saying I can turn 4300 Rpms with motor trimed down I run my trim to where my rost is right above my muffler and if I hammer down at that trim height it will hit 4600-4700 Rpms I just chose not to run it that high of Rpms cause I don't want it to go boom |

I'm no expert, but yeah,I would think with a prodrives gear ratio, they would definately turn up after mods. I would also believe that re pitching a pd prop wouldn't put the motor in AS MUCH OF A BIND,because of the ratio... Here's a can of gas in the fire........ With the ratio of the GDSD...and its 3 blade prop.... U better have mods on any other brand to out push it! Talking about power, not speed, not reverse, not neutral. Pushing a load..power. ![]() |

think about a vehicle.. You can run that thing and bounce all over the rev limitier, but do you HAVE to run WFO? |
