I bought a 6.5 Hp mad mud motor from a guy with a prop already on it, I then put a 16hp motor on it and I need to upgrade my prop. Thinking about a 8x4. How do you measure the prop is the 8in. Blade tip to blade tip diagonally or on single blade length? And my other ? Is what does a bigger prop give besides more torque? |

The pitch is the distance the boat will move per one full revolution of propeller. so you kinda right the prop will travel 4 inches forward per each revolution of propeller. Just understood after I read it again. LOL |
