I am getting ready to build a mud motor, I know the pros and cons of both. Just curios , which is stronger in the same hp. I have a 16 hp motor to work with and plan on putting it on a 15-42 waterfowl edition weldbuilt. Any comments are welcome |

Which one will push the boat better. I'm not as concerned with speed, just go power |

Unless you really need the LT, shallow water with hard bottom or need the extra reach for crossing logs, dams, etc, go with the SD. |

Seems like a lt would be easier to build... And if your not worried about speeds a long tail will get you everywhere |
