Had hell getting my prop off. So I built this tool out of a 2.6" outer spindle nut socket. I used a die grinder to cut out the grooves that matched the 3 blade perfect. still had to use heat, but it worked like a champ. Now I'm going to try the 2 blade! Socket was 9.99 at oreillys |

May be a dumb question but what stops the shaft from spinning as you spin the prop off? Did you use an impact wrench or big breaker bar? |

Take the prop nut off (or loosen it up quite a bit) crank your motor up rev it up a few times pull the kill switch I do this my LT and it works. |
