 prodrive trim
this may sound like a dumb question, but the trrim is leaking on my prodrive, and i cant figure out where you put damn hydraulic fluid in it.. i couldn't find a fill plug, im guessing you take the fliter off the bottom of the trim and fill the filter up and put it back on?

 Re: prodrive trim
Guessing you have the black 3 wire Mercury hydraulic trim unit? The new units are more user friendly. There's 3 parts to this unit the motor, pump housing, and resurvoir. Right below the 2 hydraulic lines and the pumps housing you will see a small 1/2 inch black round plastic cap with a slot for a flat head screw driver that is the fill and dip stick . what your referring to as the filter is actually the oil reservoir .
