 2009 PD Lower Unit Grease/Removal
Hey Guys. I took my rig out the other day and when I got it back home I noticed I had some grease coming out in a couple different places (circled in red. Not my boat just a photo I grabbed off the web) and wanted to know if this was because I needed to replace some seals. I have noticed there is a little slack when I go to turn the motor and when the lower unit starts moving. Is that normal? If not, how do you remove the lower unit to replace the seals?
Thanks for the help.

No seals there, it's just grease is the void between the tower bushings. Do you have hydro reverse? There will be some play in it back and forth but doesn't hurt anything.
