I was wondering the same thing when I read that sponsor announcement. He noted the EFI and the new gear box. Anybody know anything about the gear box?

instant reverse would be good as long an it still had the power as the FPR has now. I wonder what's going to be diffrent about the gearbox

Post subject:  Re: ProDrive New Generation Gearbox

Yea instant reverse and full power reverse would be awesome, especially for like backing off the trailer and off shores and stuff... And then have your fpr for the tough stuff, mud, grass, etc

Instant reverse and FPR would sure be nice...only if a belt would work twisted up one time!

I tried to see what it was by asking KP and telling him I was doing an upgrade to my boat but wondering if I should wait to see what they will have to offer. I didn't tell him anything about what I was thinking of doing but he said whatever it is you are thinking, why rush...save your money...

Post subject:  Re: ProDrive New Generation Gearbox

yea it is a really big diffrence from the stock skeg, looks like you can get a lot deeper in the mud an not have so much shit hang up on it in the front

Post subject:  Re: ProDrive New Generation Gearbox

A 1.3-1 gear ratio, along with instant reverse without a squeeze handle and still the option of FPR would be a nice upgrade.
