Post Replacing shaft seal nut on a PD
Do I engage the clutch to take the prop and seal nut off of the shaft? I've heard people doing that but also saw in the PD pdf file not to engage the clutch to loosen the prop... How should I break the prop loose???

Put a wratchwd extension in the hole in the clutch to keep the prop from moving. Take a 6ft 2x4 and drill a hole in it (1"-1.5"...big enough to slide it on the shaft against the prop) about a ft from one end and break that bitch loose. Prop will bite the wood and youre good to go. Neversieze the shaft when ya put it back together.
