 27 Mud buddy Mini
Can a big blade prop fit on the mud buddy mini 27? The motor will spin 4K rpm with a stock prop.
Also I have seen modded 27s out there but who does them and do they make over 35hp with the mods?

 Re: 27 Mud buddy Mini
U can try to turn a big blade. What boat are u running? U want to spin 4300 in the water if u can. Are you right at 4K now?
IMO u are better off moving up to a 35 compared to putting a bunch of money into a 27.

10-4, Its a 1854 Gator Traxs with a hunt deck. It does 22 with the 27mini. Runs good. Just wondering if the big blade would work. I dont think the 27 will spin 4300 in the water...... I dont know anyone with a stock 27 that is doing that but I my be wrong....

 Re: 27 Mud buddy Mini
U won't b able to turn a big blade on a boat that big w a 27... I'm surprised u r running as fast as u r.. That is not nearly enough motor for that size hill w any sort of load IMO.
I'd get to a 35 or larger if u can

 Re: 27 Mud buddy Mini
Will do, I am VERY surprised at how good it runs. I will sale the motor after next duck season and get a 35.
I traded my Xpress with a Modded and Turned 35GDSD for the rig. I was able to do 33mph with my last rig but I have always wanted this Gator Traxs so I fell it worked out best for the both of us.

 Re: 27 Mud buddy Mini
I think you should trade me the 4500 for the mini with some cash...
I actually think the mini is a great motor it pushes this boat A LOT better than I or anyone would have thought!!
