anyone ever thought of making a GDSD stayin in the water without the little tab things like a gatortail?

I saw a guy with bungee cords from the outdrive to the transom. But really, all you gotta do is weld in some plate to the inside walls at the rear of the outdrive to weigh it down some. then cut the tabs off

He has the 35hp on a 16x60 and it rides horribly flat. Plans are to make a new transom clamp and off set the motor farther back to transfer more weight to the stern. Also to change the location of the vertical pivot point father forward to give the motor a more weighed back design and power trim.

Melt down some lead on your cav plate!
Problem fixed!
Buddy of mine has the same problem with his. I got out of my rig and drove his and its horrible. Every time you hit any mud at all you have to hold down on the motor.
