36 PD on PD 17 x 48 with 155 hrs on original prop. Most hours are deep water and weeds with the occassional mud running. Prop still has some black paint on it. I have never been able to turn over 4000 rpms but now can turn 4130 in deep water with an average load (~400-500 lbs) with motor trimmed correctly. Neutral rpms at WOT is 4250. Forgot GPS so don't have any speeds. TIme to change prop?? |

Its definitely suspect but the first step is to pull out a tape measure and verify that you have worn below tolerance. |

Generally when they are worn down 1 inch in diameter it's time to replace. |
